CDC Healthy Schools: Toolkit of Curated Resources from Formerly Funded Non-Governmental Organizations

Through the National Collaboration to Promote Health, Wellness, and Academic Success of School-Age Children (CDC-RFA-DP16-1601), CDC Healthy Schools funded five national non-government organizations (NGOs) to complement and strengthen the work of state grantees. These NGOs supported the grantees and their organization’s constituents to promote and implement proven policies, practices, and programs in school health priority areas for Physical Education and Physical Activity, School Nutrition Environment and Services, Out of School Time, Healthy Eating and Physical Activity, and School Health Services.

CDC Healthy Schools grantees and other partners can use the resources in this toolkit to equip teachers in their district to expand and enhance programs and policies as it relates to the Healthy Schools Branch priority areas.
